Jacqueline is a native Washingtonian. Her family has deep roots in Pierce County. Her great grandparents were some of the first homesteaders in the Graham/ Orting area where she grew up riding horses and climbing trees. Jacque’s family instilled in her a strong work ethic that has served her well. When she is not in the office, you can find her spending time with her family. Whether it is spending time with her mother, daughters, brother, niece, step children or extended family any excuse is a good one to spend time with family, share stories and laugh.
Jacque graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a triple major in political science, communications and business economics. She attended law school at the University of Puget Sound (now known as Seattle University School of Law). After law school, and proving to be a glutton for punishment, Jacque went on to receive her LL.M in Taxation from Golden Gate University School of Law where she graduated with honors.
Jacque is married to her husband Jack. She has two biological children: Cierra and McKinsey and four step-children: Michael, Tiffany, Rachel and John. Jack and Jacque are proud grandparents to two grandchildren with a third grandchild on the way.
Although a small town farm girl at heart, Jacque went on to become Miss Washington-USA in 1986 and competed in the Miss USA Pageant. She had so much fun being Miss Washington and was fortunate enough to go on to become Miss North America, competing in the Miss International Pageant in 1988 and was Mrs. Washington in 1990 and competed in the Mrs. American Pageant which was held in Russia. These days, the thought of competing in a pageant makes Jacque break out into a cold sweat at the thought of the swimsuit competition. Her pageant days are long over but having had the opportunity to represent the State of Washington and this Country was an honor and opened doors to television and modeling opportunities that few farm girls from small communities get to experience.
