Jacqueline McMahon – Founding Attorney
Jacqueline is a native Washingtonian. Her family has deep roots in Pierce County. Her great grandparents were some of the first homesteaders in the Graham/ Orting area where she grew up riding horses and climbing trees. Jacque’s family instilled in her a strong work ethic that has served her well. When she is not in the office, you can find her spending time with her family. Whether it is spending time with her mother, daughters, brother, niece, step children or extended family any excuse is a good one to spend time with family, share stories and laugh.
Jacque graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a triple major in political science, communications and business economics. She attended law school at the University of Puget Sound (now known as Seattle University School of Law). After law school, and proving to be a glutton for punishment, Jacque went on to receive her LL.M in Taxation from Golden Gate University School of Law where she graduated with honors.
Rhonda Ryan – Paralegal
Rhonda Ryan is a highly experienced paralegal supporting attorneys in all phases of family law from inception through trial. She assists with drafting pleadings and correspondence, fact development, research, trial preparation and everything in between. Her desire is to provide individualized attention to every client no matter what they are facing showing compassion while confidently navigating them as painlessly as possible through their legal process.
Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Rhonda had 14 years of experience working for attorneys in various areas of law and also worked as a Legal Assistant for Pierce County District Court. The vast range of experience and resources she brings to the firm is invaluable. She also has 25 years of real estate experience and is a licensed notary.
When she isn’t working, you’ll find Rhonda tackling DIY home and decorating projects, planning and visiting new and exciting places for vacation, spending precious time with extended family and close friends, and making memories with her wonderful husband, two amazing children and ridiculously cute chocolate lab, Jax.
DeLynn Sterling – Paralegal
DeLynn has been a personal injury paralegal in Washington since 2001. She works directly with clients, adjusters, and attorneys throughout the entire case process. Every case is different and knowing that every circumstance is equally traumatic to the client, regardless of the severity (or leniency) of the situation and she treats each person with dignity, compassion, commitment, and respect. She is always eager to learn new aspects of the law and accepts these challenges.
Outside of work DeLynn enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys long road trips with her husband on their Harley and loves to travel.
Debbie Valencia – Receptionist
As the firm’s receptionist, Debbie will likely be the first face to greet you upon your arrival and the first voice you hear when you call our office. She embodies the personal and professional nature of our legal practice, treating each visitor with dignity, respect, and compassion. In addition to Debbie’s clerical responsibilities, Debbie serves the firm as a legal assistant, ensuring clients provide information to our legal team allowing us to obtain the best results for our clients.
Outside of work, Debbie enjoys attending concerts with friends, going to drag races, and enjoys working in her garden and spending time with her pets.
